SEE & DO

THINGS TO DO

Marlow-on-Thames is a riverside town steeped in history and, today, a busy tourist attraction and commercial centre. It is just four miles from our guest house accommodation to High Wycombe, Maidenhead and 10 miles to Windsor and Legoland.

Walking

Our guest house is a convenient starting point for the Thames Path walk and several circular scenic walks. It is an easy flat walk along the Thames from Marlow to Henley or Maidenhead.

If you’re a bird watcher you can go on a day’s guided walk taking in a reservoir at Marlow to see 3 species of woodpeckers, kingfishers, ducks, waders, gulls…

Restaurants & Pubs

Revellers come from all around to enjoy the town’s vibrant food and pub scene. For the Foodies, Michelin Start restaurants include Tom Kerridge's, The Hand and Flowers and The Coach. In Bray you have Heston Blunenthal's, The Fat Duck, Hind Head.

The River Thames

The Little Green Boat Company

Based on the River in Marlow, our small fleet of self drive rowing and motor boats are available to hire by the hour.

Salters Steamers
Salter’s Steamers are the only company with a landing stage at Marlow and this popular route passes through many beautiful villages before finishing with a cruise along the world famous Henley Royal Regatta course.

National Trust

There are many National Trust properties within easy reach of us. The nearest is Cliveden just 6 miles away.
